White Dog Plantation is a 60-acre retreat for people seeking relaxation in a natural setting steeped in Florida history. Just 16 miles from I-10 and Tallahassee, 3 miles from the quaint town of Havana, and 7 miles from the historic Coca Cola millionaires town of Quincy, White Dog offers seven boutique guest rooms as well as Shady Rest, a 3,300 square foot meeting and event center in what used to be the area's most raucous and infamous honky tonk.

White Dog is a village of historical buildings including the c.1828 Nicholson farmhouse, which is on the National Historic Register, as well as several historic buildings that were moved to the site by Paul Nicholson, a former owner of the property and developer of the much beloved but now closed Nicholson Farmhouse Restaurant.

Behind the village is a gorgeous ravine with a large spring, huge trees, and a nature trail open to the guests of White Dog Plantation. The uplands in front of the village are managed as gopher tortoise, bluebird and native wildflower habitat.  And for our guests with dogs, we have a 4-acre fenced off-leash dog park.
